It was love at first sight when I saw tiny short-legged Munchkins and could not resist bringing them into my Registered cattery. I have searched and found great bloodlines to develop my beautiful Toy and Teacup sized Munchkin line. My small Munchkins come in all colors and color points with long hair, short hair and sweet little faces.
Munchkins have kitten-like ‘purrsonalities’ and seem to stay this way for their whole lives. Munchkins especially love to flip over on their backs for friendly tummy rubs and gallop around with their tails pointing straight up!
The Munchkin trait appeared in the 1980’s and is now a recognized breed in the cat world. Standards (short legs) or Non-standards (longer legs) are each born in the same litter to the same parents. Both have sweet Munchkin faces and the same kitten-like ‘purrsonalities’.
